Pondering the Important Stuff...

I didn't think it would happen already. I mean I KNEW they would know more than me maybe by the time they were 10 or so - but at 5? Seriously, I don't think I can be dumb for so long.

The conversation at our house on Saturday:

Esther: Eloise, I'm bleeding...Donut(our cat) scratched me.(sobbing)
Eloise: Let me see your blood before mommy puts a band-aid on it.
Eloise: Did you know there are many parts to your blood...red blood cells carry the oxygen, white blood cells help us fight against being sick, and platelets help your blood clot...so you need some platelets.
Me: Do you girls want to put on some pretty clothes so I can take your pictures for ebay?

Well that sounds about right Tracy... My dd said to another parent the other day that only Female Mosquitos suck your blood so they can feed their babies, but the male mosquitos do not. She also said that lizards are good at camoflauging... but not snakes...where she learned this??? not from me.
