All I ever wanted to be was a mermaidfloating through the water
kicking my tail
my long hair flowing behind me as I swim faster and faster
I am friends with all fish
I am happy and light
I am beautiful
...for 20 minutes every night
I am a mermaid
with my best friend, my sister
together we are the most beautiful mermaids in the sea.

Love that photo! Saw your comment about Simple Woman's Daybook - you should definitely do it! It is a great way to start off the week... just sort of taking a step back to take stock in your life before getting going! :)
How sweet! My 4 year old has a new fascination with mermaids. In fact...she wants to be one when she grows up! :0)
