Last week, I received this letter from a local toy store. Many times during the year, some other retail establishments call me with special sales and thank you gifts.When this happens, I first feel so flattered they have thought of me...but quickly it turns to "holy crap, how much did I spend there this year?"

you are clearly on an entirely different shopping level than I have ever been on, as I must say I have never received such perks. well, okay, Target does send me extra coupons now and then...
a woman i know manages a small upscale boutique. she said that whenever sales are short of goal, she calls this one woman who always has to have everything from every line. the manager claims that she feels a little ashamed doing it, but it doesn't seem to have stopped her.
That's a hoot! I vote for embarrassed! ;)
