The other day, I dressed the girls in a new Matilda Jane outfit so we could go to the new zoo exhibit and I could take pictures. We drive 20 minutes, get out of the car....I forgot my camera. Darn. So, the girls probably enjoyed the zoo more than usual without me taking their pictures for 2 hours straight..and I got to really see the animals too.
Fast forward a few hours...we're up from rest and I try again to take pictures of the girls in our lovely backyard in their Matilda Jane finest. Immediately Eloise runs off, not to be found..so I take a few pictures of this one, as she seemed a bit willing, before we went in search of her unwilling older sister.
After Esther lost interest..oh, after about 45 seconds...we found Eloise..HERE on the floor of the greasy garage in her new Matilda Jane helping Jed put grease on his Motorcycle chain. Now, I am all for helping Daddy and learing about Motorcycle maintenance and all that...but I do believe there is proper attire for it. Thank goodness Jed knows me well enough that he did provide her with a towel to kneel on to save the pants a bit.
I am now off to Target to buy some proper play clothes...

Daddy always needs a helper (been there done that) - can't wait to see her new outfits for that....
Jed has been suggesting play clothes for a long time now! This should make him happy. I can't wait to see what you select as "play clothes" Please take pictures of that.

I agree with Mel! I always wonder if your children are that much tidier than my own, or if you're just that much better at laundry than I. Or possibly both.
Hooray for play clothes!
TOO FUNNY! At least your husband knows!!! LOL The girls looked ADORABLE in their MJC I LOVE that top!!!
