Random Acts of Sewing...

Well, I am sewing again. I kind of have to though as Jed would really start to wonder what I am going to do with the new mountains of fabric invading our house at this moment.

What I have decided to do with my fabric is to make things.(pure genius I know) and do some "random acts of sewing" for people. You know, like random acts of kindness...but I'm really not that nice, and don't want that word or stigma associated with me..hehehehe...

My plan is to make at least one item per week and then send it off to some of my peeps. I figure if I make one thing a week this is the ONLY way I am going to learn and improve my skills and become a real sewer? seweress? seamstress? tailor? one who sews? sewgoddess? master of the universe? Anyway, some of you may end up with one of my lovely creations in your mailbox. Don't feel bad if you don't receive something though - as it's probably just because I don't know your address and am too embarrassed to ask you for it as you might think I would stalk you...and I probably would. ...and furthermore, I am still not a great sewer? seweress? seamstress? ..blah blah blah...so perhaps you are even luckier NOT to receive something. But if you DO receive something, be kind and act like it's the most fabulous item ever created and it's handiwork is beyond professional, and shower me with compliments...as my ego can be quite fragile..and I have lots of fabric I still need to use before Jed finds all of my new fabric stashes and I get into big trouble.

Moving on...here is what I made last week...a lovely reversible apron. It went out in the mail on Saturday to one of you...so check your box..and enjoy..and remember it's perfect...just don't look at it with glasses on.

...coming next week...a darling apron skirt for some little lady in Chicagoland...
