Thank YOU!!!..and a contest...

Thank you, all of my 12 readers for reading my blog..being my friend and putting up with my serious issues. Thank you for laughing with me and for not taking me too seriously...

..and thank you for commenting from time to time. It strokes my ego, and isn't that what blogging is really all about at times. ;)

So, as a special THANK YOU!!! I have a $25 amazon.com gift certificate for ONE OF YOU!!!!

Just make a comment on this post about what you are thankful for, what you ate for Thanksgiving or what color your hair is today. Or just say "hey, I am a lurker and you are insane but I want $25." Anything goes - just comment to enter.

You have until 6pm central time this Sunday night 11/29. Winner will be announced on Monday.

xoxo,t

My good friend, Rachelle, put me on to your blog. I really enjoy your sense of humor, outlook on life and your beautiful family. Astrid is the most adorable baby :) What I appreciated this Thanksgiving was that our family was together, no gifts, and we all stayed home all day! It was very nice because our college student hasn't been home since the middle of Aug. I'm also thankful for you blogger's who often brighten my day with your stories & humor about daily happenings. Thanks!

Well you know I'm here reading...along with my hot chocolate.

I we had traditional turkey with my cousin's family at my sister's place...no holiday drama, we look forward to this gathering EVERY year, we all love it so.

I am thankful I'm not a BF shopper, I get to stay home and clear the decks for the Christmas decorations we'll put up Sat & Sun.

Happy Thanksgiving, Tracy...you and your blog make the world a happier place.

I stop by "Sellabit Mum" most days... You make me laugh and ponder the things that might otherwise slip through my cluttered 40year old brain!
I have many Thanksgiving blessings including a healthy family, successful business and a long line of dear friends...

Cheers to one of thos friends!

Hi Tracy~
I'll admit that I just started reading your blog this past week---saw your link on TBB after you posted about meeting the Pioneer Woman, and I've really, really enjoyed reading it! Your girls are truly beautiful, and your blog made me laugh and feel like, "Okay, it's totally OKAY to feel this way!"---meaning it's okay not to be supermom/perfect, but, all in all, you seem like you are a pretty darned great mom/a great person!

"Love you, love your blog"...do you ever listen to talk radio & people call in & always start with that line...just wanted to say it in the blog world!
Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!

hey tracy, two weeks out from having little ella, and in the "eye of the storm" of breastfeeding, i am thankful for a few things: my mom being here to cook and clean our house, my hubby for sitting up with ella after i've fed her and can stand up no longer, and red wine for just getting me through this very difficult, and yet very sweet phase. happy thanksgiving! ;)

Hey Tracy - love the blog, read it always! Your pictures are amazing, and I love your funny posts! Our Thanksgiving day dinner was not fun at all... at this lousy, crowded restaurant with my inlaws (rolling eyes), but I'm making my own turkey dinner tonight just for our little family, and hopefully it will be much better! Posted what I am thankful for last night, so you can check my blog for that! :)

Okay...as I see it, most of these comments are people trying to suck up in order to win the 25 dollars. But, what have they done for you lately?? If you'll notice the comment from Ann J (2nd from top), she says that her good friend "Rachelle" got her hooked on your blog (she doesn't use those exact words, but it's true) So, ahem, all I'm sayin' is...I'm out here pounding the pavement, spreading the word about how funny you are, about your amazing photos, etc., and adding to your readership. Because of me, you'll probably surpass PW as one of the top 25 blogs in the nation. Never mind, give it to someone more deserving (like that poor breastfeeding woman who is in need of more red wine!). Ouch!!

I'm thankful that I don't own a gun or poison because one of the two would have been used during thanksgiving dinner last night.

lmao, I vote for Rach

Then again, do they even SELL red wine at Amazon? Plus, Amanda has a cute new baby named Ella, does she really NEED anything else? Okay, I vote for Bekki for keepin' it real. Too funny!!! Plus, I probably wouldn't know how to use it anyway. Technology and all.

I just thought of something... I probably disqualified myself by commenting twice (I'm assuming the rules are one comment per person). Oh, look at that. Now it's three. I'm screwed.

Oh man, I almost missed this! And hey, you've got a whopping 17 followers now! You are way cool. Maybe I should run a contest! LOL

Just teasin' ya girlie! Love you, love your blog!

Hi Tracy. I've told you before(on TBB) how much I love your blog and idolize you, but I'll tell you here again. I think you're awesome.

I am thankful for my sweet baby Ellie, who was born on Thanksgiving day last year, and who is one year old today.Coming on the heels of extreme tragedy(the death of our son at age 8), she has brought so many blessings to my life: new friends, new hope, and love, love, love. Her boundless energy and love of life make everyone around her smile. Thank you, Ellie, for everything you have taught us, everything you have yet to teach us, and for just being who you are.

You are so cute!! I love reading your blog! Since you asked ... currently my hair is crazy red. I mean CA-RAZY red, as in I Love Lucy Red. Oops. And I ate more of that blasted low carb soup today. Sheesh, I need to get my hands on some mashed potatoes.

I am thankful that I lost all constraint today and ordered MJ even tho I shouldn't have, because I know I am going to love it all, and hey, it was a sale! ;-) I'm also thankful that I found the green cardi at the Gap outlet tonight because I have been wanting it to go with the striped knee socks I bought back in September. And thankful that I finally got out of the house WITHOUT my kids because if I had not done so, I would instead be thankful for the new straight jacket that the nice men would have brought for me.

THANK YOU for giving me something fun to read!!! And thank you for occasionally stopping by my blog and not using the safe word (yet).

dude, $25 at Amazon? Woot!

I am thankful for what I have. Which I used to think wasn't much, but I now know is everything. And I am happy to know the difference.

I am thankful for my beautiful daughter who is finding more beauty in life with her many new talents. You have given me 3 precious granddaughters that I adore and wish I lived closer to!! I am thankful for my children who have become caring, responsible individuals and I am fortunate to have a close family. We had a very nice Thanksgiving playing games and enjoying each others company. Please don't vote for me - I have no idea what Amazon.com even is:) (unless you just love me the most of course!)

Okay, now I vote for Hanson Girl for being the most original by copying your line about being a lurker. Too cute. Do I get to vote? I didn't think so.

Hope you noticed that my comment actually ended up posting under Heather's (Hanson Girl) even though I changed the identity, apparently they didn't like me commenting from her computer...you have become VERY popular!
