Why Yes I am Mean ....

..and proud of it.

Further proof of my meanness...

I wasn't around for bedtime once this past week. When morning came Eloise ran to me, hands on hips in full knowitall fashion and was all "Daddy is so much nicer than you. He let us stay up really, really late - because you know I am 7 years old and should be able to stay up late!"

And I was all "Well Daddy is in big, big trouble for doing that - I have rules you know!"

And she was all "Well, I looked at the clock and it was 7:16 when we went to bed - how come you never let us stay up that late?!"

The indignity of a seven year old....too funny! You are such a sleep rule mom, even during spring break!

ha ha ha Sometimes I also take it as a compliment when one of my kids or students (I'm a teacher) tells me I'm mean. lol
BTW, *love* the new picture of the three girls--how sweet!

You are a mean mean mommy! Did daddy get in trouble for letting the girls stay up so late?

Mean moms are the best kind to have. It shows they care. Enjoy those 7 o'clock bedtime days... THOSE were the days. I miss them.

Those dads that let their kids walk on the wild side, what are we to do with them? My DH can never seem to remember what time bedtime is either, I wish he'd be 15 minutes tardy, try 2 hours beyond....drives me NUTS.

I continue to be awed & amazed by your ability to have all of your kids in bed by 7:00 pm!!! What time do you eat dinner? Seriously, we do well to have them in bed by 7:15 & often it is more like 7:45 to 8:00. Rock on sister!
